For a National Day gift with a local link, LEGO Architecture Dubai (21052) is the obvious pick: the Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab, Emirates Towers, Dubai Fountain and Dubai Frame in one 740-piece model. Under AED 100, go for LEGO Botanicals flowers, a small Technic set or a few Pokémon packs. For card collectors, a sealed booster bundle or a Japanese booster box goes down better than random singles.
Eid Al Etihad falls on 2 December 2026, the UAE's 55th National Day. It's a long weekend for most families, which makes it a natural moment for a gift: something to build together, open together, or put on the shelf. This guide sorts our best gift picks by budget, with LEGO for builders and sealed cards for collectors. Every price below is our price today.
What's the best LEGO gift for UAE National Day?
LEGO Architecture Dubai (21052). It's the only set we stock built around the UAE: the Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, Jumeirah Emirates Towers, The Dubai Fountain and the Dubai Frame on one skyline base. It has 740 pieces, is rated 16+, and costs AED 599.
It works for teenagers and adults, as a desk piece, or as a gift for someone moving away from the UAE. LEGO lists the set as retired, so it won't be restocked forever. If they already have it, LEGO Architecture Great Pyramid of Giza (21058) is the regional alternative at 1,476 pieces.

What can I buy under AED 100?
Small gifts are where most people overspend on things that end up in a drawer. These get used:
- LEGO Botanicals Lotus Flowers (AED 61, 220 pieces): a quick build that ends up as a permanent flower arrangement. A good host gift for a National Day gathering.
- LEGO Technic Motorcycle (AED 79, 163 pieces, 7+): a first taste of Technic for kids who like taking things apart.
- LEGO Creator Yellow Taxi (AED 79, 124 pieces): small and fun to build.
- Pokémon Destined Rivals booster pack (AED 69): add two or three to a card or a gift bag.
- UNO Show 'Em No Mercy (AED 20) or Kanoodle Extreme (AED 89): for the long-weekend family table.

What's a good gift between AED 100 and AED 300?
This is the sweet spot for most gifts: big enough to feel special, small enough for a cousin, a colleague or a child's friend.
- For car fans: LEGO Speed Champions McLaren F1 Team MCL38 (AED 109, 269 pieces) or the bigger Technic Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica (AED 299, 806 pieces, 9+).
- For adults who want something calm: the LEGO Bonsai Tree (AED 219, 878 pieces, 18+) or LEGO Art LOVE (AED 259, 791 pieces, 18+).
- For Disney and Harry Potter fans: the Mini Disney Castle (AED 299, 564 pieces, 12+) or the Hungarian Horntail Dragon (AED 299, 671 pieces, 10+).
- For One Piece fans: the Double Pack Set Vol. 8 (DP-08) at AED 179. It's a small, giftable way to open One Piece packs.
- For Pokémon fans: the Chaos Rising booster bundle (six packs, AED 289). A bundle is the best value way to give packs. See booster box vs ETB vs bundle for how they compare.

What should I buy a serious collector?
For someone who already collects, sealed product beats anything random. Two rules: buy something from a set they're actively collecting, and keep it sealed so they can choose to open it or keep it.
- Pokémon: the Ascended Heroes ex Box (AED 329) is a strong mid-budget gift. For a bigger moment, an Elite Trainer Box such as 30th Celebration (AED 949) or Ascended Heroes (AED 999) comes with packs plus accessories and a storage box.
- Japanese cards: Japanese booster boxes cost far less than English ones and are popular with openers. Storm Emerald (AED 549) for Pokémon, or One Piece OP-16 The Time of Battle (AED 499). Not sure about the language? Read Japanese vs English Pokémon cards first.
- LEGO: the big Technic cars are the classic "big gift". The Land Rover Defender (AED 1,599, 2,573 pieces, 11+) suits UAE drivers who love their 4x4. The Ferrari 488 GTE (AED 999, 1,684 pieces, 18+) is the one for Ferrari fans. For fans of the show, LEGO Ideas Central Perk is AED 799.

How do I pick the right LEGO set for their age?
Use the age on the box as a guide to difficulty, not a limit. Sets marked 18+ are designed as display models for adults; most 6+ to 9+ sets are built to be played with. For age-by-age picks, see our LEGO gift guide by age and budget, and for grown-ups, the best LEGO sets for adults.
